美育是通过对人审美能力的训练和锻造,培养人发现美、感受美、表现美,特别是理解美和创造美的能力。审美能力本质上就是人的一种认知能力(faculty of cognition),高度地依赖于关于世界的丰富经验与知识。中国古典诗词中所蕴藏的诸多认识世界的思维法则及古典意象语言,具有独特的艺术价值和教育价值,为扩展我们对世界的认知提供了极有价值的途径。当前,我国古典诗词教育存在过于重视记诵,单独强调作者情感分类,忽视审美意识和审美判断力的培养,忽视对情感与认知关系的理解等问题。基于这种现状,当下古典诗词教育需要有新的调整,即回归诗词文学审美本质,揭示其背后的普遍思维法则,重视古典诗词审美判断中的反思与省察,启迪学生去洞察和把握其中所揭示出来的广袤世界中有价值的新联系,帮助学生去深刻领会诗词作品的不朽审美价值。
A New Perspective on the Aesthetic Education Practice of Chinese Classical Poetry
Aesthetic education is achieved through training and cultivation of individuals'aesthetic abilities,fostering their capacity to perceive,appreciate,and express beauty,particularly in understand-ing and creating beauty.The essence of aesthetic ability is essentially a cognitive ability of individuals,highly reliant on rich experiences and knowledge about the world.The various cognitive principles and classical imagery language contained in Chinese classical poetry possess unique artistic and educational value,providing valuable avenues for expanding our understanding of the world.At present,there are problems in the education of classical poetry in China,such as excessive emphasis on memorization,sole emphasis on categorizing authors'emotions,neglect of the cultivation of aesthetic consciousness and judg-ment,and neglect of understanding the relationship between emotions and cognition.Based on this situa-tion,current education in Chinese classical poetry requires new adjustments,namely,a return to the aes-thetic essence of poetry and literature,revealing the universal principles of thought behind it,emphasizing reflection and introspection in aesthetic judgment of classical poetry,inspiring students to insightfully grasp and understand the valuable new connections revealed within the vast world,and help-ing students deeply appreciate the timeless aesthetic value of poetry works.
