The Mechanism of Supervisors'Ethical Leadership Influencing Postgraduate Students'Creativity——A Study Based on Supervisor-Student Matching Questionnaire Survey
Based on social learning theory and social exchange theory,this study explored the mediating mechanisms and boundary conditions of supervisors'ethical leadership on graduate students'creativity through 223 supervisor-postgraduate student matched questionnaires.The results found that supervisors'ethical leadership is significantly negatively correlated with"evasive hiding"and"playing dumb",and is not related to"rationalized hiding".Evasive hiding and playing dumb hiding mediate between supervisors'ethical leadership and postgraduate students'creativity.The"mastery climate"plays a mod-erating role between supervisors'ethical leadership and evasive hiding,and it can strengthen the media-ting effect of evasive hiding.Therefore,it is suggested that supervisors continuously improve their level of ethical leadership,and reduce postgraduate students'evasive hiding playing dumb,to promote students'creativity.In addition,supervisors should also strive to shape a positive and proactive mastery climate,thereby enhancing the effectiveness of ethical leadership.
