Undergraduates'Spare Time Allocation and Its Influence on Employment Competitiveness——Based on the Survey of Municipal Universities in Tiaijin
Based on the survey results of Tianjin municipal colleges, this paper explores the current status and influential factors of undergraduates'spare time allocation, and its influence on employment compet-itiveness.The results show that undergraduates spend less time on extracurricular learning and extracur-ricular activities than learning in class, and spend more time on leisure and entertainment.Factors such as academic performance and future plans have varying degrees of impact on undergraduate students'alloca-tion of their extracurricular time.Extracurricular learning, extracurricular activities, and internships have significant positive effects on undergraduates'spare time allocation, and time management ability has a moderating effect on the influence of spare time on employment competitiveness. Therefore,it is recommended that colleges and universities integrate general education courses, such as time management and career planning into the undergraduate education and teaching plans to guide students to change their learning concepts, and actively provide undergraduates with internship as well as employment practice platforms to cultivate their comprehensive qualities.
