Exploring the Concept and Practice of Teaching Development at the University of Helsinki,Finland
The outstanding achievements of the University of Helsinki in education and teaching in Finland are inseparable from its unique research-based teaching development concept.The values of the university,the principles of the university teaching concept,and the ethical principles of university re-search and teaching all reflect the research-based teaching development concept of the University of Hel-sinki.To implement the teaching development concept,the University of Helsinki pays attention to and encourages the development of teachers'teaching ability,attaches importance to the role of student par-ticipation and feedback,implements teaching quality monitoring and evaluation,and promotes teaching development by strengthening international cooperation.Drawing on its experience and combining with China's reality,this study believes that it is necessary to accurately promote the teaching development of teachers from multiple dimensions,insist on using teaching development to serve the students,create an excellent teaching culture,encourage teachers'teaching and academic development,establish a teacher classification appointment system,attach importance to teaching evaluation,conduct assessment surveys and obtain feedback,and strengthen teaching quality management to promote the teaching development of Chinese universities.
