Objective To explore the correlation between the general self-efficacy scale(GSES)and the community integration measure(CIM)in patients with traumatic spinal cord injury(TSCI).Method From January 2019 to January 2022,a total of 101 TSCI patients who had been discharged from the hospital and had lived in the community for ≥12 months were collected.General clinical data,CIM and GSES scores were collected, and Pearson correlation was used to observe the correlation between CIM and GSES,as well as general clinical data.Multiple linear regression analysis was used to eliminate confounding factors and investigate the relation-ship between GSES and CIM.Results The CIM scores of 101 patients ranged from 13 to 37 points, with an average of(27.46±6.54)points.The GSES scores of 101 patients ranged from 12 to 33 points, with an average score of(20.09±5.83)points.Pearson correlation analysis showed a significant positive correlation between CIM score and the independent variable GSES(P<0.05).The CIM score was negatively correlated with age(P<0.05),and significantly positively correlated with gender, injury level, injury cause, treatment method, discharge ASIA,education level, family caregiver, monthly family income, employment status, and post in-jury time(P<0.05).There was no correlation with marital status(P>0.05).Multiple linear regression showed a significant positive correlation between GSES and CIM after excluding confounding factors(P<0.05).Conclusion TSCI patients'community integra-tion and self-efficacy are low,and self-efficacy is independently related to patients'community integration.
