Digital Transformation in Education:The Logic of Spatial Justice and the Direction of Development
With the deepening of digital transformation in education, the spatial pattern of the unbalanced development of educational digitalization has arisen from the differences in resource endowments and transformation processes between schools, between urban and rural areas, and between regions, and has resulted in the problem of spatial injustice.Spatial justice is not only a justice-oriented reflection on geographically unbalanced development but also the justice-oriented maintenance of the subjects'spatial rights and interests, and it provides a theoretical analysis tool for the spatial thinking of the digital transformation in education. To couple spatial justice with the digital transformation in education,we need to consider the spatial differences and development gaps in the digital transformation in education between schools, between urban and rural areas, and between regions, and establish the logic for spatial justice based on the digital equalization of inter-school education, the digital integration of urban and rural education, and the digital circle of regional education;and analyze the trends for the development of educational digitalization in spatial justice in production, distribution and consumption, based on the relationship between efficiency and equity, between balance and difference, and between co-construction and sharing, and ensure the orderly combination and harmonious interaction of various spatial subjects in the digital transformation in education. To tackle the problem of spatial injustice in the digital transformation in education,we need to carry out practice-based planning and adjustment, explore the approaches to digital transformation in education based on spatial justice in perception, substantiveness, forms and procedures, and develop a balanced and justice-oriented spatial picture for the digital transformation in education.
