The Discourse Shifts in the Curriculum Reform in the Background of Globalization
How to deal with the conflicts between diverse discourses in the context of globalization and reach a consensus on the curriculum reform concerns the in-depth development of the curriculum reform.The current practice of the curriculum reform features diversified,mixed,and fragmented discourses,and there are such problems as lack of consensus,academic theories and a complete system;thus,we need to strengthen discourse analysis and selection.In the future,to build a discourse system for China's curriculum reform,we need to have a dialog with the world and develop a Chinese discourse for the curriculum reform;have a dialog with the social reform and develop an educational discourse for the curriculum reform;have a dialog with the policy,practice and media and develop an academic discourse for the curriculum reform;and have a dialog with different disciplines and develop a curriculum-based academic discourse for the curriculum reform.To build a discourse for the curriculum reform aiming to reach a diversified discourse consensus,we need to establish the practical concept of the curriculum reform discourse,and shift from the practice of policy tools to the practice of diversified dialogists.In particular,we need to establish and improve the elements of the practice of the dialog on the curriculum reform:The curriculum reform discoursers need to shift from irrational discoursers to rational discoursers,the object of the curriculum reform discourse needs to shift from idealized curriculum practice to reality-improving curriculum practice;the expression of the curriculum reform discourse needs to shift from self-talk to consultative dialogs;and the conditions for supporting the curriculum reform discourse need to shift from individuals'self-consciousness to collective dialog platforms.
