The Spatial Governance of Vocational Education in Its Service of Rural Revitalization:An Analytical Framework Based on the Socio-Spatial Theory
With the complete victory of poverty alleviation,China has entered a new stage of rural revitalization.A re-examination of the theoretical issues of vocational education serving rural revitalization based on the spatial nature of rural areas helps to inject a new energy into vocational education in the complete improvement of rural revitalization and the acceleration of agricultural modernization.Based on the theoretical model of spatial sociology,this study constructs a three-dimensional analytical framework of"material space—spiritual space—social space"in rural areas,and reshapes the spatial logic of vocational education serving rural governance.In terms of physical space governance,we need to build work-study space,practice-based space and makerspace so as to improve the structural functions of the rural space of production,life and ecology,and promote the shift of the value of the natural ecology in rural areas into the value of industrial economy;in terms of spiritual space governance,we need to empower cultural subjects,stimulate cultural recognition,promote cultural reproduction,and co-create a cultural governance system so as to reshape the value of public spirit and local civilization in rural areas;and in terms of social space governance,we need to strengthen the ambitions of the main body of governance(new farmers)to enhance their consciousness of technology,improve the adaptability of vocational education to rural areas and build digital and"differentiated villages,"establish a public governance system for rural areas and strengthen the spatial governance of urban-rural integration,and improve the efficiency of governance so as to promote the synergy and symbiosis of rural areas.In the new era,to promote vocational education serving rural revitalization,we need to open up new areas of spatial governance as soon as possible so as to help build beautiful rural areas,accelerate the building of a powerful country in both education and agriculture,and promote Chinese modernization.
