The Coordinated Promotion of the Reform of Methods for Talent Cultivation:The Logic and Approaches
During the improvement of the building of a powerful country in education,the coordinated promotion of the reform of methods for talent cultivation is inherently logical as an inevitable requirement for the development of the times.At present,we need to accomplish the fundamental task of molding high morals and cultivating talents based on people orientation,face such situations as international competitions between big countries,and the maintenance of national security,and serve national strategies and socioeconomic development.All these impose new requirements for the reform of methods for talent cultivation.Following the changes of the times and the needs of society,we must be systematically,holistically,and methodologically conscious to build a system for high-quality education in the critical period of the educational reform.To methodologically and coordinately promote the reform of methods for talent cultivation,we need to firmly establish an idea that the fundamental task of education is to mold high morals and cultivate talents based on people orientation;adjust academic disciplines to cater to the needs for technological development and national strategies so that the methods for talent cultivation can keep pace with the development of the times,adapt to social development,and integrate with technological innovation;and promote the reform of the educational system and mechanism to provide continuously improved space for new methods for talent cultivation.At the same time,we need to adhere to a systematic,holistic,coordinated,and comprehensive reform,go beyond the limits of phased goals,promote the educational reform in the process of relying on and serving the people,improve the educational reform based on the educational wisdom by which to inherit and develop excellent traditional Chinese culture,push forward the educational reform in coordination with the whole of society,and promote the high-level opening-up of education to build China into a powerful country in education.
