Interpretation is the basic approach to academic research,and the basic way for people to understand things and analyze phenomena.Education does not lack interpretation,but its interpretation is at times dissonant.Blindly extending the meanings of education or defining the elements of education makes educational interpretation tend to be loose,fragmented,one-sided,unidentifiable,and uncontrollable.Education,which has a logic of"limitation,"is both limited and restricted.The connotations,extensions,value,functions and roles of education,which are subject to professional limits,cannot be infinitely expanded,dismembered,reduced,expected,or endowed with responsibilities.To establish the limits of educational interpretation is in essence to clarify its standard and boundary.The key to establishing its standard is to clarify the depth,breadth and validity of interpretation,and avoid missing connotations,functional imbalance and deviated value resulting from narrowed,generalized and utilitarian interpretations.The key to establishing the boundary of educational interpretation is not to delimit the"unique"territory,but to debate and construct a unique disciplinary knowledge system so as to enhance the explanation,guidance and construction of disciplinary knowledge in pedagogy.
