The Collaborative Construction of the Digital Technology-Empowered Teaching Space for Vocational Education
Space is a basic dimension of the teaching practice in vocational education,and the time-dominated teaching in vocational education narrows down the limit of space;the space for the development,change and generation of teaching is"temporalized,"and the teaching space is dissimilated to an accessory of time.Under the strategy for the high-quality development of vocational education,people's holistic development,the vigorous development of digital technology,and the spatial turn of social science research jointly drive vocational education,of which the teaching space adapts to the situation and steps into reforms.Based on Lefebvre's"trialectics of spatiality"and the teaching space empowered by digital technology,the teaching space in vocational education presents not only the distribution-based carrier for teaching activities and the field of enhanced construction for teaching relationship production,but also the embodied field of perception for the achievement of the teaching goals.The teaching space no longer simply trains students into standardized"parts""for the sake of occupation"to cater to the needs of enterprises,but cultivates them"through occupation"into"whole persons."To further perform the functions of the three-dimensional teaching space in vocational education,the teaching space empowered by digital technology must systematically promote the collaborative construction of the material teaching space(from"single"space to"integrated"space),the social teaching space(from"external"space to"internal"space),and the spiritual teaching space(from"detached"space to"embodied"space),thus comprehensively shaping a new teaching space empowered by digital technology,and providing spatial support for the cultivation of high-quality technical and skilled talents adapting to the development of new technologies and industrial changes.The future teaching in vocational education must further clarify the true meaning of teaching space,achieve the coupled balance between instrumental rationality and humanistic concerns during talent cultivation,accumulate more spatial momentum for the digital transformation of vocational education and teaching,and build the teaching space into a continuous world full of life meaning and value pursuit.
