As an important carrier of the teacher education curriculum and teacher preparation and training, teacher education textbooks play an important role in cultivating high-quality and professional teachers in the new era.The integration of the spirit of educators into teacher education textbooks not only helps to carry forward the spirit of educators, but also injects vitality into teacher education textbooks during their innovation and development. The spirit of educators is in essence the social practice of educators. Its integration into teacher education textbooks is essentially the reproduction of educators'social practice. It can be integrated into textbooks as a practice-based action to explain knowledge,a practice-based paradigm to clarify theories, and a practice-based guidelines to standardize methods.During its integration,we need to tackle the dilemma of separating ethics from philosophy and psychology, the dilemma in textbook presentation from story-telling to knowledge output, and the dilemma in the shift from concentration on the experience of several educators to concentration on the entire group of educators, and by using such traditional Chinese culture-related concepts as"things"versus"objects,""mind"versus"reason,"and"integrity"versus"category,"clarify the internal relationship between the spirit of educators and textbooks, and the structure of their integration. This study, from the perspective of spirit awakening and reconstruction, and on the basis of the current use of teacher education textbooks, proposes such curriculum types as invitation, conversation and expectation for the spirit of educators to be integrated into teacher education textbooks so as to reveal the role the spirit of educators in its awakening, supporting and expecting the consciousness of teachers'thoughts and actions.
