In response to the phenomenon of juvenile offenders in contemporary society,Amendment XI to the Criminal Law offers some approaches for handling such cases. However, the reduction of the age of criminal responsibility remains theoretically controversial.Despite this reduction, there is still a gap in the legal responsibility of juvenile offenders.Under the current legal framework,it is crucial to proactively engage, take positive actions, and contribute to the establishment and improvement of a juvenile justice system with Chinese characteristics.Additionally, beyond using criminal measures to educate and punish juvenile delinquency,it is essential to improve specialized educational systems, which deserve more attention in the prevention and punishment of juvenile crime.
