The"double first-class"construction is a major strategic deployment in the field of national higher education,and plays a leading role in promoting the development of higher education.Through analyzing the current situation of the construction of"double first-class"in local universities and clarifies the key factors for local universities to be selected for the"double first-class"construction.Combined with the current situation and existing gaps of"double first-class"construction in Henan Polytechnic Uni-versity,this paper puts forward measures to promote"double first-class"construction from four aspects:top-level design,talent introduction,platform construction,and achievement cultivation.
