摘要
十六国时期是北方游牧族群与华夏族群产生深刻历史纠葛的时期.在此时期,原游牧于北方的胡族大量南迁,建立了相应的胡族割据政权.这些割据政权的建立,导致此时期"夷夏之辨"思想的突出存在.这一点反映在地理方位上,就是方位名词西、东、南、中和夏的组合名词大量地出现于史料中,在时人的意识中形成了西夏、东夏、南夏、中夏等"四夏"的区分."四夏"在十六国时期有自己相对应的区域,并形成了以中夏为主,其他"三夏"为辅的内部关系.同时,在整个十六国时期,"四夏"并不是一成不变的,每一块"夏地"随着各政权的变化都产生了相应的位移.这些位移和变化显示出十六国统治者积极融入华夏正统体系的意识和态度,为中华民族共同体和大一统国家的出现奠定了坚实基础.
Abstract
The Sixteen Kingdoms Period was a time of profound historical conflicts between the northern nomadic tribes and the Han Chinese ethnic group.During this period,many Hu tribes that were origi-nally nomadic in the north migrated southward and established corresponding separatist regimes.The establishment of these separatist regimes led to the prominent existence of the debate between barbarians and the Han ideology during this period.This is reflected in the geographical terms,where the combined term"Four Xia"consisting of the directional nouns"East,West,South,and Central"and the term"Xia"appeared frequently in historical records.This article,through the compilation of historical materi-als,roughly summarizes the corresponding regions of the Four Xia,forming an internal relationship domi-nated by"Central Xia"and supplymented by"Three Xia".Meanwhile,during the whole Sixteen Kingdoms Period,"Four Xia"was not fixed,and each"Xiadi"underwent corresponding displace-ment with the changes of each political regime.It also summarizes the relationships among the different Xia within the Four Xia,the changes they underwent,and provides a brief analysis of the specific impli-cations of these changes and the reasons behind them.
