Traceability and evolution of building skin materials based on mosaic geometry theory
This paper retrospects the historical development of various mosaic materials used in building skin,further studies the mosaic criteria,and sum-marizes the unique functional characteristics of mosaic skin in building,introduces the different optimization directions of the combination of materials and mosaic techniques for architec-ture,aiming to provide a new perspective and thinking path for the application of"mosaic"in modern architectural skin,and theoretical basis and reference for the perfect combination of more innovative materials and architecture in the future.
