A study of the characteristics of the learning environment on university campuses oriented to the self-directed learning model
The proportion of stu-dent-led independent learning modes in university education is increasing,which puts forward new demands on the design of university campus learning environments.This study in-vestigates the relationship and evolution of learning modes and campus spatial patterns,analy-ses the changes and innovations made by universities in the mac-ro,meso and micro dimensions of campus design based on the characteristics of independent learning modes,and summarizes the characteristics of university campus learning environments oriented by independent learn-ing modes.
