Abstract
The Ventilation Tower of East-West Passageway and the Ventilation Shaft of Pudong Avenue Station on Metro Line 14 faced with the problems of adjacent historical buildings,dense residential areas,and complex imple-mentation interfaces.By the composite approach encompassing space,func-tionality,environment,and image,the design transforms the gray infrastructure into a green landscape infrastructure that integrates into the urban environment,enriches community life,and stimulates the vitality of the area.
