Since the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as its core attaches great importance to grassroots CPC building work.The work for college students has been given a new mission and thus embarks on a new journey.To do a good job in the party building work for college students in the new era requires universities throughout the country to unwaveringly adhere to the leadership of the party by strengthening its building,to firmly grasp the direction of the times,to actively open new perspectives and patterns for its building work for college students,to explore new paths for innovative development,and to flexible use the"progressive pen"in contemporary education.To achieve the leapfrog development of the CPC building work for college students,we should cultivate a group of qualified party members with the principles of"Four Emphases and Four Possessions"for the party and the country,and inject strong forces of the times into the socialist cause.
