Based on cyber ethnography,capital theory,and power theory,the study delves into the affective labor practices of powerful fan community in cyberspace.The affective labor,power construction,and exercise of power of powerful fans are interrelated.As a bridge for communication between idols and ordinary fans,powerful fans accumulate four types of fan capital during affective labor,gain internal power within the fan community through the transformation and reproduction of various fan capital,and exercise power against idols and ordinary fans in both upper and lower dimensions.By analyzing the affective labor and power operation process of the powerful fan group,new measures can be provided to solve the chaos in the"fan circle."
