The application of digital construction techniques in comprehensive renovation projects for historic building conservation involves the stages of data collection,standardization,integrated application,and delivery.Using the protective redevelopment project of 160 neighborhoods in Huangpu District,Shanghai,as a case study,techniques such as 3D laser scanning,building information modeling(BIM),various digital devices,and historic building platform are employed to achieve the goals of historic building restoration,functional enhancement,and digital preservation.
