Study on Comparative Analysis of Reinforcement Schemes for Small Spacing Shield Tunnels in Soft Soil Areas
In small spacing shield tunnel projects, construction of the rear tunnel disturbs the surrounding soil and existing tunnel, potentially causing soil instability, segment failure, and structural deviation, which impacts project safety.Taking the small spacing shield tunnel project of Suzhou Rail Transit Line 7 as a case,a detailed numerical simulation is conducted using PLAXIS 3D to compare and analyze the application effects of different reinforcement measures.Based on preliminary calculation results,a field reinforcement scheme tailored to the small spacing conditions of Suzhou Metro Line 7 is designed.Field monitoring data are analyzed to assess the effectiveness of the implemented reinforcement scheme. The findings provide reference and guidance for designing reinforcement schemes for small spacing shield tunnels.
