Study on Influencing Factors of Integrated Application of BIM and IPD Model:Empirical Analysis of ISM-MICMAC Model Based on Grounded Theory
Compared with traditional project delivery modes,Integrated Project Delivery(IPD)effectively promotes multi-party collaboration and reduces resource waste. With the support of Building Information Modeling(BIM),the advantages of the IPD model are further amplified. However, the development of the IPD model integrated with BIM remains in an exploratory phase, and its promotion and dependency factors are still unclear. Therefore,a study on the influencing factors of BIM and IPD integrated application was conducted.First, grounded theory was used to identify 18 core influencing factors that impact the development and application of BIM and IPD,which were categorized into four core groups according to coding requirements. Then, the Interpretive Structural Modeling(ISM)and Cross-Impact Matrix(MICMAC)were employed to analyze the hierarchical structure of the influencing factors and their internal mechanisms. This led to the formation of a theoretical framework for the influencing factors of BIM and IPD integrated application development. Finally, targeted recommendations were proposed based on the research findings.
