Research on the Application of Earned Value Method in Engineering Project Management:Taking the 1# Building of a Residential Project as a Case
In recent years,competition within the construction industry has become increasingly fierce,and government macroeconomic regulation has gradually strengthened.For the construction industry,market segmentation is becoming more stable,and cost control is becoming more important.Therefore,inadequate management of project costs is one of the principal causes for low profitability of enterprises.The phenomenon of non-standard management often exists in the project cost management of construction enterprises,which significantly affects the profitability of engineering projects.There are various means and methods of cost management.This article summarizes the theory of earned value method and its practical value in project cost management,elaborates on parameter design and cost deviation analysis ideas,analyzes the application of earned value method in construction cost control based on the case of the 1#building of a residential project,conducts earned value analysis on project data,and discusses corrective measures.
