With rapid development of information technology,traditional ways of archives management in the investigation and design industry can no longer cater to needs of an increasing number of files and complex management tasks.Artificial intelligence(AI),an emerging technological means,is featured with automation,intellectualization and high efficiency.It brings new opportunities and challenges for archives management.In this study,we studied and analyzed AI application cases in archives management practice.On this basis,AI application prospects in archives management of the investigation and design industry were explored.Specific to problems existing in them,relevant solutions were proposed accordingly.Thus,it is expected to provide references and assistance for archives management in the investigation and design industry.
