Concerning global security in 2023,risks and opportunities coexist.In New Year's address of many state leaders,"conflicts"and"catastrophe"are high-frequency vocabularies.Our world enters 2024 in the ups and downs.This article consists of three sections:(1)Views on the general historical trend;(2)learning about the nationality;(3)industry choices.From such three perspectives,we investigated into the way for urban construction to take a solid path of modernization.Starting from planning and buildings,feelings of a city should not stop at"Seeing".We also need to be alert to value rises of the show field for high-quality urban development.Urban modernization built for our people must have comprehensive strengths such as urban resilience,hazard prevention,engergization and emergency management.It may be more important for us to gain more in-depth insights into modernization and inspect modernized urban design and architectural creation based on innovation.This study emphasizes that a city may face a series of challenges from sustainability and resilient construction at a historical perspective combining the perception of risks relating to comparatively weak social and industrial expectations.Destruction of natural and cultural heritage cannot be neglected as well.Therefore,we need to investigate not only how to conduct heritage inheritance and protection in the 21st century that has passed by 1/4,but also how heritage inheritance and protection play a substantive part in urban development.Additionally,selection of specific policies,laws and regulations and methodologies,etc.for modern cities and buildings(i.e.,the readily available environment)should refer to messages and opinions conveyed in advanced concepts,so as to acquire new power of making progress.
