Concerning EPC,the"requirement for employer"is not only a part of the bidding document,but also the important content of the EPC contract.It is vital to the success of a project.Based on clarifying the concept of the"requirement for the employer",this study focused on its core factors and importance to a project.Moreover,the basis,principle,and method of compiling the"requirement for the employer"were developed according to different early design stages of the employer.Thus,it is expected to provide certain references for the compilation of the"requirement for the employer".
