Regional culture is a valuable asset to a nation and region,playing a significant role in local development and social progress.As one of the important birthplaces of traditional Chinese culture,Northern Anhui possesses unique regional cultural characteristics.This paper aims to explore pathways for inheriting these cultural features to construct a beautiful and harmonious countryside that is desirable to live and work in Northern Anhui.Based on an analysis of the current construction status and major issues,the paper conducts an in-depth investigation of countryside construction in Northern Anhui.It examines the manifestation of regional cultural characteristics through countryside features and further refines the design elements of traditional residential architecture in the region.The paper summarizes practical approaches for protecting and inheriting traditional residential buildings in Northern Anhui and applies these methods to the redesign of a beautiful and harmonious countryside.This approach seeks to find new methods and pathways for the inheritance of regional culture in countryside construction,forming a concise guideline for the planning and construction of a beautiful and harmonious countryside in Northern Anhui based on cultural rejuvenation.
