Study on Architectural Heritage Preservation and Revitalization from the Perspective of Rehabilitative Regeneration
Under the social structure and administration system with Chinese characteristics,investment in the preservation of historic buildings and cultural heritage has been increasing in China year by year.Rehabilitative regeneration,as one of the approaches to dealing with cultural heritage,not only focuses on the restoration of various elements within the heritage itself but also aims to revitalize its practical functions in society,serving as a kind of practical functional restoration.This study adopted the concept of rehabilitative regeneration,integrated it into the preservation of historical and cultural heritage,and restored,maintained,or updated the practical functions of architectural heritage based ondifferent historical conditions.While respecting history and inheriting culture,this study incorporated innovative elements and the spirit of the times into the preservation and revitalization of heritage,enabling architectural heritage to integrate into modem society more harmoniously.
