Research on the Connotation of Building Surface Space Adjacent to Street Concept in Urban Renewal
The Building surface space adjacent to street serves as the expression of the city.It is the most important medium for people to experience space in the city,and plays an important role in urban renewal.This paper argues,based on the city-building boundary,as well as the perspective of human visual perception,that the architectural boundary is not only the building skin defined by the physical environment,but also the building surface space focusing on human experience.At first,to discuss the relevant concepts of building boundaries and compare the development process.Secondly,it distinguishes the functions and attributes of the surface space.Finally,it proposes the concept of building surface space,in order to study the integration of architecture and urban boundaries.At the theoretical level,it is helpful to reorganize the intension and extension of architectural space concept.In the furture,it is valuable in the theoretical and practical aspects of urban renewal,building renovation,and service facility construction.
