The Establishment Evolution and Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Fujian Sanlu Coastal Defense System in the Ming Dynasty
The coastal defense system of Fujian in the Ming Dynasty was not only an efficient coastal defense work,but also an important guarantee for supporting the tribute system and merchant ship trade system of the Ming Dynasty.The paper is based on the process of the transformation of the coastal defense system in the Three Route Defense Zone of Fujian in the Ming Dynasty.It discusses the shift from the proactive coastal defense policy during the Hongwu period in the early Ming Dynasty to the passive coastal defense policy during the orthodox and Jiajing periods in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,explores the influencing factors of its transformation,and combines historical geographic databases to explore the spatial pattern changes during the transformation process.
