Research on Defense System based on the Space of Diji Castle in Qinhe River Basin
The Qinhe River is the people's mother river in the southeast and the second longest river of Shanxi Province.Its terrain is mainly mountainous with high in north and low in south,which is surrounded by hills and valleys,and hidden by Diji Castle.In the late Ming Dynasty,in order to resist bandits,Diji Castle built personalized fortress spaces with dual civilian and military functions according to its unique natural environment and geographical location.This paper takes Diji Castle as research objects,analyzing their site selection,architectural characteristics,layout form,defense system,spatial nodes,multiculturalism and other contents are deeply analyzed,for sort out the settlement form with the regional cultural characteristics of Qinhe Castle.
