A Review of Ecological Corridor Construction:From the Perspective of Corridor Scale and Function
The construction of ecological corridors is an effective means to strengthen the connectivity of ecological elements and slow down the fragmentation.The paper will start from a global perspective,explain the development of ecological corridors and the process of ecological corridor construction in China.This paper will analyze the scale and function of ecological corridors,and list different methods for identifying ecological sources and corridors.The paper will also take the design practice of corridors of different scales in China as an entry point,and propose that the construction of ecological corridors in China should be planned from the macro,medium and micro scales,and comprehensively considered in terms of social economy.
