Study on the Evolution and Construction of Walls in Traditional Gardens
As a type of building in traditional garden,wall has a long history,which was closely related to the history of garden development.Different types of walls have different functions and enclose different space in the courtyard,and they also play a unique role in landscape architecture.By collecting and analyzing ancient materials and documents,excluding paintings and murals on utensils,the functional evolution and manifestation of walls in gardens were studied.The earliest artificial small holes in brick walls have their artistic pursuits.Based on previous research,the construction of walls in garden were studied by analyzing existing ancient materials to provide reference for the study of traditional gardens.
