Exploration on the Adaptability of Contemporary Architecture Discipline to Consumer Society
Since Liang Sicheng reformed the Tsinghua's Architectural Department in the last century with the concept of"shape and environment design",the concept of construction has a more comprehensive dimension to the interpretation of firmitas,utilitas and venustas.The establishment of the Architectural Department hopes to cultivate"generalists"with comprehensive qualities,consequently,the field of architectural disciplines can be extended.Until today,the development of the information industry and the evolution of the consumption era have placed the ideological attributes and functional attributes of the architectural discipline in an equally important position,leading to the emergence of the architecture as an expressing sign that is partly adapted to the consumer society,and caused people to explore and think.This paper mainly analyzes the degree of adaptability of the consumer society in architecture,in order to inspire contemporary architectural orientation.
