Research and Review on the Design of Public Spaces for Urban Street Mobile Vendors
In recent years, the expanding scale of the mobile vendor population has brought about a series of challenges in the governance of urban street spaces, making it a hot topic of research in the fields of urban planning and management. However, there has been insufficient attention given to this issue within the field of design. Therefore, this paper reviews the relevant research on mobile vendors, spatial planning, governance, and design in street public spaces both domestically and internationally in recent years.Currently, domestic research primarily focuses on macro-level spatial governance, while lacking dynamic attention to the micro-level daily practices of mobile vendor communities and in-depth studies on their needs.Based on this,it is necessary to conduct research and contemplation on urban mobile vendors and street public spaces, with the aim of providing valuable references for the construction and development of urban street spaces.
