Cultural Resource Composition and Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Chengdu-Chongqing Railway from the Perspective of Heritage Corridor
As the first railway in the People's Republic of China, the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway is the main traffic line in the southwest region that radiates across the country. It has unique social, scientific and cultural values, but it lacks systematic research results from the perspective of heritage.Based on the theory of heritage corridors, this paper collects and counts the cultural resources related to the functional, historical and spatial existence of the railway within 10 kilometers on both sides of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway according to the three spatial morphological elements of point, line and surface. Finally, the spatial distribution characteristics of"double peak type","cooling tower type"and"triple peak type"are obtained respectively, which provides a basis for the protection and utilization of railway cultural resources and the research and practice of urban space renewal along the line.
