Discussion on the Culture Connotations and Application of Cycas Revolute from the Perspective of Cultural Confidence
Plant culture is an important branch of traditional Chinese culture.Based on the perspective of cultural confidence,this paper takes cycas revolute which is the"living fossil"in the plant kingdom and the most primitive gymnosperms on the earth as the object.Through introducing the morphological characteristics and ecological characteristics and cultivation methods of cycas revolute,the paper analyzes its social attributes and digs deeply into the cultural implications of cycas revolute then comprehensively interprets the cultural connotations of cycas revolute to consolidate Chinese culture.The paper also guides people to apply it scientifically and rationally in the process of urban and rural construction and understand the value of cycas revolute in order to awake their protection consciousness then displays the natural and ecological and cultural beauty of plants.Improving urban and rural living environment in the meantime protecting the plant resources in situ conservation then build contemporary ecological civilization.
