Research on Variable Building Skin Design based on Octopus Optimization Algorithm:Taking Office Buildings in Hangzhou as an Example
The skin of a building is just as important to the human body as the skin is to the building,as it directly contacts the external environment for energy exchange.Against the backdrop of energy conservation and emission reduction,variable building skins have become increasingly popular among architects and are widely used in architectural design,not only due to their excellent dynamic aesthetic effects,but also due to their ability to regulate indoor light and thermal environments.This study takes office buildings in Hangzhou as an example,using variable skins and tools such as parametric design,Ladybug Tools,and Octopus optimization algorithm,to conduct multi-objective optimization design research on the summer light and thermal environment,in order to improve the indoor comfort of office buildings in summer.
