Exploring the Renovation Design of Old City Street Scenery under the Influence of Folk Culture
Streets are the skeleton of a city,and their shape is not only a microcosm of the city's development,but also a major factor in the impression of the city by its residents.Nearly 80%of a city's public space is street space,which has diverse functions such as access,entertainment and leisure,so the importance of city streets is self-evident.However,with the rapid development of the city,the decay of the old city streets and the damage received are very serious,and the quality of life of residents is constantly declining.Therefore,the transformation of the old city streets has become an important issue in urban construction.The paper takes folk culture,which reflects regional and humanistic characteristics,as a design element for street renovation,and proposes systematic principles and strategies for the renovation design of old city streets under the influence of folk culture,combining contemporary ideas,technologies and materials,in order to provide a new way of thinking for the renovation of old city streets,and to renovate modern city streets that meet the needs of residents and reflect urban development.
