Study on Campus Design based on Runoff Path Guiding Concept:Taking Three Campuses Built by Mountains as Examples
In campus design, terrain conditions and hydrological conditions are important environmental factors that affect the design.Campuses built around mountains often have memories of historical site runoff. The water flow on the mountain forms a specific runoff path and solidifies over time.Respecting the existing hydrological conditions of the site, considering the original surface runoff path, and designing with the runoff path as the guiding concept can provide sufficient site justification for the layout of the campus built on the mountain.By utilizing the different characteristics of the site runoff path,we can combine it with campus planning to adapt to the situation, add campus spatial features, achieve certain water conservancy value, and unleash greater ecological value.
