Rural residence and recreation is a new era of"recreation,socialization,holiday and recreation",with the rural recreation service system and lifestyle as its core,and a new lifestyle of recreation.A questionnaire survey was conducted to understand the awareness and demand for rural residence and recreation among the middle-aged and elderly people in the city.Through the field survey of 13 traditional villages in Nanchang,we analyse the villagers'wishes and the current situation of recreation resources and public service facilities in the traditional villages,thus discovering the contradiction between supply and demand of recreation and tourism in traditional villages in Nanchang,analysing the problems and dilemmas faced by traditional villages in the supply of recreation and tourism,and proposing corresponding improvement measures to optimise the balance between supply and demand,so as to promote the protection and development of traditional villages,with a view to providing an opportunity for the development of recreation and tourism in other traditional villages.This study aims to provide reference for the spatial planning and design of recreation and tourism in other traditional villages.
