Research on the Optimization Strategy of Urban Walking System for Visually Impaired People
Aiming at the practical problems that the existing barrier-free facilities can not satisfy the normal trip demands of visually impaired people,taking some sections of Honggutan New District in Nanchang City as an example,through questionnaire survey,field investigation and GIS analysis,the basic travel characteristics of visually impaired people,the travel difficulties they face,and the main problems existing in the travel system are summarized,and information analysis and processing are carried out.Based on the survey results,this paper puts forward the development trend of barrier-free facilities for visually impaired people from the aspects of blind road system and indication system.Based on the principles of connectivity,accessibility,systematicness and interactivity,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy for the travel system of visually impaired people,in order to provide theoretical reference for the construction and development of urban barrier-free environment in the future.
