Study on the Influence Mechanism of Spatial Morphological Indies on Outdoor Thermal Comfort in Residential Areas
Residential areas are the basic living units of urban residents, and comfortable, healthy, and green outdoor space environment in residential areas is becoming a common demand of people.Identifying the thermal comfort driving factors of outdoor space in residential areas to guide the rational design of outdoor space morphology is the core content of creating climate sensitive residential areas. This paper discusses the effects of spatial morphology indicators on the outdoor thermal comfort of residential areas, such as sky view factor, aspect ratio, and building surface fraction, and explores their internal impact mechanisms, with a view to providing corresponding references for thermal comfort oriented residential area planning and design.
