Evolutionary Motivations and Intervention Mechanisms of Dalian Historic Districts from an Institution-driven Perspective
A large number of valuable modern historic districts exist in Liaoning.As important cultural relics,their living protection and regeneration are important for enhancing the cultural taste of cities and creating new dynamic energy for economic development.Taking Dalian as an example,this paper traces the process of Dalian's port opening and city construction from the perspective of historical street protection management system and urban planning.It sorts out the impact of national and local institutional policies on Dalian's urban construction,development,and historical street evolution,analyzes the current situation,problems,and internal causes of the renewal and protection of historical street areas in Dalian,and proposes targeted intervention mechanisms.The cases study of Dalian historical districts provide a reference for the renewal and revitalization of historical districts in Northeast China.
