Research on Fractal Order Characteristics of Open Space in Ancient Town of Zigong City
The open space feature is an important part of the spatial feature of ancient towns.Based on the quantitative classification of ancient towns'boundary morphology,this study selects the cluster ancient towns,finger ancient towns and belt ancient towns as the research objects,and uses the box-counting dimension method to analyze their open space fractal dimension value and fractal order,the results show that the fractal order of the open space of the ancient town has the characteristics of continuous hierarchy and decreasing area;the number of levels increases exponentially;ancient towns have high spatial self-similarity,shape boundaries are closely related to the natural environment and other characteristics.The overall fractal dimension value of ancient towns is high,and they are good fractal bodies,so their fractal order characteristics have certain reference value.Based on this,this paper puts forward suggestions for optimizing the fractal order of the open space of ancient towns.
