The paper analyzes the functional transformation of traditional dwellings in Ganzhou under modern living conditions,taking the historical district of Yugutai in Ganzhou City as an example.It analyzes the causes and consequences,values and benefits of the functional transformation of the Yugutai Historic District in terms of historical background,tourism development,architectural style and characteristics,and plan and space,and extracts some worthy strategies for the renewal and conservation of traditional houses from the examples of functional transformation of the Yugutai Historic District.
