Hunan Province is a red hot land with a profound revolutionary culture,playing an important strategic fortress role in the historical journey of resisting Japanese aggression and establishing a new China.It is the original birthplace of Mao Zedong Thought and the cradle of the birth of the People's Army,leaving behind many revolutionary architectural heritages that carry these glorious histories.In order to protect,utilize,and inherit the historical value of architectural cultural heritage,this study provides an overview of the characteristics and protection status of revolutionary architectural heritage,focusing on sorting out its social,cultural,and spiritual values.It also analyzes the protection and utilization strategies of revolutionary architectural heritage through examples,hoping to provide reference for more revolutionary architectural heritage protection and development.
