The excellent local traditional culture is an important carrier and resource of"curriculum ideology and politics".Based on Yuedi,a water town with a history of more than 2,500 years,this paper proposes a research on the ideological and political teaching of ancient garden history courses that integrates the cultural characteristics of Yuedi in the whole process.And it deeply excavates the ideological and political elements such as Yuedi characteristic culture and historical relics that are closely related to ancient gardens in each historical stage.Then,using task-based teaching,flipped classroom,"example interpretation"teaching method and other methods,the teaching content of each chapter is organically integrated with the excellent traditional Chinese culture and the characteristic culture of Yuedi.It effectively enhances Yuedi's cultural self-confidence and cultural consciousness,and actively promotes the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
