Greenway planning has always been a hot topic of social concern,as well as a key field of interdisciplinary research in ecology,urban planning and landscape architecture.This paper uses statistical methods to summarize the literature publication and the distribution of research journals of the greenway research in China from 1985 to 2021.In addition,key word emergence analysis,co-occurrence analysis and cluster analysis were used to summarize and sort out the research hotspots by CiteSpace software.And from the suitability index system,greenway system planning,Pearl River Delta greenway construction three key research areas in-depth analysis.
